Pfizer and Moderna vaccines may provide immunity for years

People who received the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines may be immune to COVID-19 for years, based on new research that shows the lymph nodes in vaccinated people begin producing protective cells that continuously regenerate themselves. Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis studied the germinal centers in the lymph nodes of patients nearly four months after they received their first dose and found they were still producing immune cells against the virus that causes COVID.
