Harish Manyam, MD, chief of cardiology at Erlanger and Chair of Medicine for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga, completed Tennessee’s first atrial leadless pacemaker implantation Wednesday.

In partnership with Erlanger, researchers at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga were part of a major multicenter international study just published in the journal Lancet Digital Health.

During the 2024 spring semester, a collaboration between the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga pre-health advising program, Erlanger and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga is providing a new opportunity for students to gain much-needed and hard-to-find job shadowing experience.

Erlanger Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship, in partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga, was awarded the accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Mr. Hall is a third-year medical student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and has found his perfect place serving the medical community here.
