Turns out a new $40 million satellite campus for The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is only a piece of redevelopment plans in the works by Saint Thomas West Hospital.
“To our knowledge, this is the largest examination of the relationship between eGFR and thyroid functional status conducted to date,” wrote senior author Csaba P. Kovesdy, MD, of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s planned building near the Saint Thomas West Hospital campus will be part of a larger mixed-use project.
This year’s event will take place Thursday, February 5th from 8:30 a.m. until noon and will be the fourth consecutive year UTHSC has participated.

Faculty, students and staff from the UTHSC’s College of Dentistry will provide more than 80 students at Memphis Academy of Health Sciences Middle School with free dental screenings, teeth cleaning and a range of other oral health services.

Hubble, founded by UT Health Science Center researcher Edward Chaum and ORNL researcher Kenneth Tobin, has developed an innovative way to provide remote diabetic retinopathy screening and analysis in primary care doctors’ offices and other settings.
Kumar has a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University and did his post-doctoral training at Indiana University School of Medicine and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
