UTHSC Professor Wins CORNET Award in Drug Discovery

Sue Chin Lee, PhD, an assistant professor of Physiology in the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) has been awarded the UTHSC/Southern Research Collaborative Research Network (CORNET) Award in Drug Discovery and Development for studying treatments that target anti-tumor immunity.


University of Tennessee doctor, professor gets grant for breast cancer research

A professor at the University of Tennessee has been given a grant to continue to study the development of drugs to fight the late stages of breast cancer. Murali Yallapu, an assistant professor in the college of pharmacy at UT, got a $439,818 grant from the National Institutes of Health to continue his research.
