Brenda Murrell is the new associate vice chancellor for research in the Office of Sponsored Programs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She has served in the role on an interim basis for the past year. She has been on the staff at the university for 17 years.
Before coming to the University of Louisville, Gonzalez was the vice chancellor for academic, faculty and student affairs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Other previous roles Wiggins served in include senior vice president at Children’s Health System of Texas in Dallas and vice president of operations at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. Currently, Wiggins works as an assistant professor in the department of pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and he serves on multiple boards.
