The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, or UTHSC, has formed a partnership with Birmingham’s Southern Research to advance promising research that could lead to new drugs to address unmet medical needs.
The program links the drug discovery and development expertise of Southern Research with UTHSC’s research network, which spans four campuses and has been involved in sponsored programs valued at $240.5 million in 2016.
