UTHSC looks ahead to ambitious second phase of campus master plan

|

In the past five years, University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) has completed $350 million of construction. And the effort slows no sign of stopping as the medical college begins to pivot to phase 2 of its campus master plan aimed at going from an incidental to an intentional campus.

UTHSC executive vice chancellor and COO Dr. Kennard Brown has five main projects he’s focused on in phase two: A new college of medicine, UT Biotechnology Research Park, a Women’s and Infant’s Pavilion developed in conjunction with Regional One Health, a mixed-use apartment complex and upgrades to campus police and security.
