On June 30, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) capped FY 2021, and if the school’s research award numbers are any indication, the year was a success. The institution announced July 15 that it raked in $121.7 million in research grants and contracts in FY 2021, continuing a pattern of growth — though this year’s jump was bigger than usual.
