The University of Tennessee Health Science Center has announced the appointment of its 11th Chancellor, Dr. Peter F. Buckley.
Buckley currently serves as dean of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, a position he’s held since 2017.
His appointment, announced Monday, Dec. 6, was confirmed unanimously by the University of Tennessee System Board of Trustees. He will begin his position Feb. 1, 2022.
