TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center announced Dr. Keith Campbell, MD, has accepted the role of chief medical officer for the hospital, effective March 2. He replaces Dr. Chris Wells, MD, who served as chief medical officer from 2018 until his retirement in December 2021.
“Dr. Campbell will be a great asset to our leadership team, and we look forward to working with him to ensure our hospital continues to lead in clinical and quality improvement initiatives,” said TriStar Hendersonville Chief Executive Officer Justin Coury.
As chief medical officer, Campbell will facilitate the analysis of quality performance, prioritize improvement opportunities and work to reduce practice variation by implementing best practices across the hospital. He plans to partner and collaborate with the medical staff and administration to facilitate teamwork and shared goals to achieve world class performance and outstanding clinical outcomes.
