UTHSC Researcher Expands National Discussion of Cardiovascular Health with Groundbreaking Study on Meal Skipping Risks

Dr. Yangbo Sun, an assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at UTHSC, conducts research on cardiovascular diseases and modifiable lifestyle risk factors. A study led by Dr. Sun found that eating one meal a day was associated with a higher risk of all-cause and cardiovascular disease mortality in adults aged 40 or older.
