After serving as interim dean for the last 10 months, Wendy Likes has been named dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Likes, who earned her master’s, doctor of nursing science and Ph.D. at UTHSC, served as interim dean for about 10 months. She leads a faculty and staff with 105 members and a college that serves about 400 students on the campus in Memphis’ Medical District.
Memphis is also home of the University of Tennessee medical and dental schools. All of these and more added up to stable employment and rental markets.
