Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a $623,558 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for leadership education in neurodevelopmental and related disorders training.
Beginning with this fall’s incoming class, students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s College of Pharmacy will have the option of completing the program in three years, rather than the traditional four years.
Eating disorders are among the most fatal psychiatric illnesses. What’s complicated about both diagnosing and treating eating disorders is that they come in many different forms, among all types of patients. Additionally, the signs indicating a potential eating disorder are not always visibly apparent.
