A new $39.7 million Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation opens this week at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
The 45,000 square-foot facility is upgrading education and training for medical students and residents. The building includes virtual reality technology, so students can practice everything from ultrasounds to surgeries. It’s the only one of its kind in Tennessee, totally dedicated to simulation training.
