A couple local contractors turned developers are seeking a tax abatement to build a four-story multifamily apartment building in the Medical District.
The $13 million project by CTLP LLC is proposed for 220 Claybrook St. Formerly home to a seven-story medical office building, the site has been cleared since a demolition in November 2020.
“It’s a great spot, right across the street from Methodist Hospital [and close to] the Southern College of Optometry and [University of Tennessee Health Science Center],” Taylor said in November. “We think it’s very appealing to a lot of different people from young professionals to … residents and medical students.”
