|

Buildings designed by two of Memphis’ most revered, modern architects — A. L. Aydelott and Roy Harrover — are to be razed soon after standing for more than a half-century.The Memphis Fire Department will vacate its 54-year-old building that houses department headquarters and Fire Station No. 5 at 65 Front St. at Union Avenue.
