Robert C. Klesges, a preventive medicine expert in Memphis, will head a scientific review section for the National Institutes of Health. He is a professor in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s preventive medicine department. He’ll chair the Community-Level Health Promotion Study Section for NIH’s Center for Scientific Review, UTHSC said.
The program allows women to be involved in their care while getting educated on topics like nutrition, family planning or labor, said Dr. Linda Moses, program director and an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
