Two Associate Deans Named in the College of Medicine

Steve J. Schwab, MD, executive dean of the College of Medicine, has appointed Polly Hofmann, PhD, as associate dean for faculty affairs and J. Timothy Mashburn, MBA, as associate dean for finance and administration for the COM.


College of Nursing Names Patterson Assistant Dean for Student Affairs

Ron K. Patterson, was named assistant dean for student affairs, effective February 18, 2008. In this position, he will be responsible for student services, admissions and recruitment.


UTHSC College of Medicine Gains Emergency Medicine Residency

David Seaberg, MD, dean of the College of Medicine, Chattanooga campus at UTHSC, announced the approval of an Emergency Medicine Residency program. This is the first Emergency Medicine Residency program on any of the three UTHSC campuses.
