Today, Chancellor Hershel P. Wall, MD, announced the appointment of Timothy L. Hottel, DDS, MS, MBA, as dean for the UT College of Dentistry. Dr. Hottel is expected to arrive in Memphis to assume his new responsibilities by January 1.

The Master of Health Informatics and Information Management program in the College of Allied Health Sciences at the UTHSC received designation as an “Approved Program.”
The UTHSC College of Medicine has appointed Dennis D. Black, MD, to the John Dustin Buckman Endowed Professorship in Pediatrics.
