The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing is partnering with Baptist Memorial Health Care on a pilot program to tackle a shortage of nurses in the operating room. The Operating Room Scholars program will educate nursing students in perioperative nursing, which involves providing care to patients before, during and after surgery. .
The Saturday immunization clinics are in partnership with MSCS, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Latino Memphis, ShotRx and Memphis Area Transit Authority.
