The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Health Professions to Host Open House February 24, 2017

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Health Professions invites prospective students to attend an open house on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. The open house will take place in the Student-Alumni Center, located at 800 Madison Avenue, Room 305.

Committed to preparing health care leaders, the College of Health Professions offers degree programs for careers in physical therapy; occupational therapy; clinical laboratory sciences, including cytotechnology, histotechnology, and medical laboratory science; and health informatics and information management. The college also offers degree programs in audiology and speech pathology on the Knoxville campus.

The College of Health Professions recently held their winter commencement, among those who graduated from the college was Daniel Waller who graduated with a degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences.

“I chose UTHSC because of the wonderful faculty and clinical affiliations that the university offered,” said Waller. “The curriculum here is dynamic and progressive, and provides all the necessary training to succeed in an ever changing health care market.”
