Surgeon and Assistant Professor Min Yoo of UTHSC Recognized by American Society of Transplant Surgeons

Min Yoo, MD, an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) and a transplant surgeon with the Methodist University Transplant Institute, has been recognized by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) for her research related to pediatric en-bloc kidney transplantation.

Gustavo Miranda-Carboni, PhD, assistant  professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), has received a grant totaling $158,232 from the National Cancer Institute, a subsidiary of the National Institutes of Health, to study triple negative breast cancer (TNBC).
