Join us on Thursday, September 14 at noon in GEB A203 for a community panel to learn about rural health care and access issues from Lauderdale County residents. This event is in preparation for a large health fair in Lauderdale County Oct. 28 that will be sponsored by the UTHSC College of Nursing. The Living Healthy in Lauderdale County Health Fair will involve many colleges from UTHSC and will offer services including blood pressure checks, glucose screenings, dental exams and other assessments. Sign up to volunteer at the Wellness Festival hosted by Healthier Memphis and Memphis Medical District. The event will be on September 16 from 11pm-3pm at Morris Park. We need volunteers to sign up for different jobs that range from 8am to 3:30pm. If you aren’t able to volunteer, please sign up to donate the blood drive during the event.
