Dopico [has] studied the effect of alcohol on the brain for the past 20 years and is a professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he’s also the chair of the Department of Pharmacology.
Most of TUCI’s external grants in 2013 were given to places like the University of Memphis, University of Tennessee Health Science Center [UTHSC], and the Neighborhood Christian Center.
But in 2006, University of Tennessee Health Science Center laid her off, and she’s struggled to get by ever since.
This is the fourth consecutive year UTHSC has participated in National Give Kids A Smile Day. . . Faculty, students and staff from the UTHSC’s College of Dentistry will provide more than 80 students at Memphis Academy of Health Sciences Middle School with free dental screenings, teeth cleaning and a range of other oral health services.
