UTHSC, Baptist act to fill need for nurses in operating room

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing is partnering with Baptist Memorial Health Care on a pilot program to tackle a shortage of nurses in the operating room. The Operating Room Scholars program will educate nursing students in perioperative nursing, which involves providing care to patients before, during and after surgery. .
