Elizabeth Romagni, New Director of Financial Aid, Brings 25 Years of Experience to the Office of Enrollment Management

Elizabeth Romagni, MBA, has been named the director of financial aid in the Office of Enrollment Management at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). In her position Romagni provides leadership in the Office of Financial Aid to maintain compliance for federal, state, and institutional financial aid, ensure accurate and detailed reporting, and upholds student financial aid policy. Through collaboration with the colleges, she aims to reduce student debt, provide exceptional service to students, create financial literacy, and debt management programs, and simplify financial aid policy, processes, and terms.

Romagni has dedicated herself to exceptional customer service in her 25 years of experience in financial aid. Before joining UTHSC, Romagni was the director of Financial Aid at Christian Brothers University, also having previously held positions at Southwest Tennessee Community College and Johnson and Wales University. Romagni earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management Studies from Bauder College. She also earned two master’s of business administration degrees, in Public Administration and in Accounting, from the University of Phoenix. Romagni said, “I am excited to be at UTHSC, I look forward to working with our students to ensure access to financial aid information throughout their college journey, I’m eager to build relationships with each of the colleges and learn how we can address the unique needs of their students.”

“I am delighted to have Elizabeth join the enrollment management team as the director of financial aid,” said Assistant Vice Chancellor of the Office of Enrollment Management, Lyndsay Pittman, MEd. “She adds a great deal of experience in leadership, student aid policy, and aid administration. Her focus on the student experience and her customer service accolades will take us to new heights in our financial aid office, enrollment management, and UTHSC.”
