Elizabeth Hall Named Director of Assessment for the UTHSC College of Pharmacy

Elizabeth Hall, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, has been named director of assessment for the College of Pharmacy by Dawn Havrda, PharmD, interim chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science and associate dean for academic affairs.

Starting July 1, Dr. Hall will be responsible for leading and managing the college’s assessment activities and manage the process, procedures, and reporting of the college’s assessment program. Dr. Hall will also lead faculty enrichment opportunities in the areas of educational delivery and assessment and assist faculty with achieving teaching effectiveness.

Dr. Hall, who specializes in oncology, previously worked for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a clinical pharmacy specialist.

An accomplished lecturer, researcher, and scholar, Dr. Hall is involved in organizations such as the Children’s Oncology Group, Tennessee Pharmacists Association, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group, and more. She has made more than 20 presentations in her career.

Dr. Hall is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. While there, she received numerous awards, including the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics Student Award and the APhA Student Leadership Award.
