Updated Effective Date for NIH Public Access Policy

The NIH has moved up the effective date of its revised Public Access Policy to July 1, 2025 (previously December 31, 2025). Under this policy, Author Accepted Manuscripts must be submitted to PubMed Central immediately upon acceptance for publication. These manuscripts must be made publicly available without embargo on the journal’s Official Date of Publication.
