Herbert Shainberg Scholars Program 2024

|

It is with great excitement that we share the application cycle and programming for the 2024 Herbert Shainberg Scholars Multicultural Exchange Program! As you know, our recently graduated Scholars Aditya Shah and Monica Ogunsusi had an incredibly rich experience this past Spring. During our debrief, we revisited the overarching goal of the program, which is to provide an opportunity for personal and professional development through the context of learning about a different culture, health care system and history through the lens of medicine. Their unanimous statement was “Mission Accomplished 1000%!”

Thanks to great input from our Deans, our students and our partners at Ben Gurion, we have decided that our next cohort will be 2 students who will rotate at Ben Gurion after their Match, from March 17-April 12, 2024. BGU is going through some changes organizationally and in order to protect the integrity and quality of our program, we have been asked to hold at 2 scholars until the 2025 cohort.
