‘Youth & Family Wellness’ Health Fair

The UTHSC Shelby County Relative Caregiver Program is hosting the ‘Youth & Family Wellness’ Health Fair on September 8, 2023, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Emmanuel Center (604 St. Paul Avenue, Memphis TN).
The goal of this fair is to bring resources and support directly to our Memphis families who may need health, parenting, therapeutic, educational and MLGW/Rent services but may not have equitable access to them.

This event is free and open to the public.

Seeking Medical Student Participants for Survey on Transgender Health Education

Calling all medical students! We are seeking participants for a confidential survey focused on transgender health education in the College of Medicine’s MD program. This study aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of our MD program in preparing students to address health disparities faced by patients who are gender diverse.
