Are you a healthy adult male or female, African American or Caucasian, between the ages 18-65 who has normal blood sugars and no personal or family history of diabetes.


Type 2 Diabetes Study Opportunity

This is a 6 month research study on the effect of diet on diabetes health which may help your diabetes to go into remission.

The Office of Continuing Dental Education and the Department of Prosthodontics present a 4-part series to introduce and examine topics in prosthodontics supporting the development of treatment planning skills. 

Registration is free for all UTHSC students, staff, residents, and faculty. Attendees receive 1 CE credit per session. Students will be entered into a raffle for door prizes.

Seeking Medical Student Participants for Survey on Transgender Health Education

Calling all medical students! We are seeking participants for a confidential survey focused on transgender health education in the College of Medicine’s MD program. This study aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of our MD program in preparing students to address health disparities faced by patients who are gender diverse.

‘Youth & Family Wellness’ Health Fair

The UTHSC Shelby County Relative Caregiver Program is hosting the ‘Youth & Family Wellness’ Health Fair on September 8, 2023, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Emmanuel Center (604 St. Paul Avenue, Memphis TN).
The goal of this fair is to bring resources and support directly to our Memphis families who may need health, parenting, therapeutic, educational and MLGW/Rent services but may not have equitable access to them.

This event is free and open to the public.
