Conversations on Health Disparities : Diabetes Prevention: A Traditional Path for Native Americans (Medicine Wheel Nutrition)

Join us on us on Wednesday November 1st at 12:00pm for a conversations on Health Disparities and lunch session as Fawn Galvan, PT,C/NDT,CPRCS (Paiute/Yaqui) educates us on the Medicine Wheel Nutrition and how Native American adults have a greater chance of having diabetes than any other racial group. This event commemorates Native American Heritage Month and Diabetes Awareness Month. This event is part of the Conversations on Health Disparities series, and is a credit on the Social Determinants of Health Co-Curricular Certificate.
