New Sessions – Register Now! Grant Writing Seminar Series hosted by the Department of Preventive Medicine and the Tennessee Clinical and Translational Science Institute – a training opportunity at UTHSC.

The Department of Preventive Medicine and the Tennessee Clinical and Translational Science Institute (TN-CTSI) at UTHSC is hosting the online Grant Writing Seminar Series during the Fall of 2023.

The ten-week Seminar Series is underway and cover all steps to produce a NIH grant proposal. Seminar participants will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with successful senior faculty at Preventive Medicine through weekly Zoom sessions.

In these weekly Friday sessions, scheduled from October 6th to December 15th from 12:00PM to 1:00PM CST, topics ranging from overview of clinical research, study design, research questions, research strategy, sample size, recruitment & retention, data collection, data analysis strategies, budget, tips for a successful proposal, and the NIH review process will be discussed.

Although one can register for a few sessions, we encourage you to register to ALL sessions to get maximum benefit from this training offer.
