On Friday, January 19 (12:00 pm-5:00 pm) and Saturday, January 20, 2024 (8:30 am-1:30 pm), the Department of Ophthalmology, Hamilton Eye Institute will be hosting their annual Clinical Update and Memphis Eye Society Meeting. This meeting features three guest speakers: Paul Bryar, MD, Hunter Cherwek, MD, and Peter Netland, MD, PhD.
Paul Bryar, MD is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Pathology at Northwestern University. He will be receiving the John L. Montgomery, Sr., MD Distinguished Visiting Professor Award.
Hunter Cherwek, MD is the Vice President for Clinical Affairs at Orbis International. He will be receiving the Darwin James Liao, MD, MPH Visiting Scholar Endowed Connection Lecturer Award.
Peter Netland, MD, PhD is the Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He will be receiving the I. Lee Arnold, MD Distinguished Visiting Professor Award.
