• Spouses losing the $3,000 of basic term life coverage
can choose to enroll for voluntary spouse term life in the
amount of $5,000 without answering health questions
(guaranteed issue). Voluntary child term life insurance in
the amount of $5,000 or $10,000 can also be added to
an employee or spouse’s voluntary term life certificate
without answering health questions.
