The College of Health Professions Seminar Series welcomes Dr. LaToya Green. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at UTHSC.

Dr. Green focuses her research on student success, blood flow restriction training, and manual therapy techniques. She has established the Education Research Group in the College of Health Professions, which seeks to empower researchers to create scholarships in teaching, learning, and clinical practice. Currently, the group is studying the Imposter Phenomenon and how it affects students and faculty. Imposter Phenomenon is a behavioral health condition characterized by self-doubt of intellect, skills, or accomplishments among high-achieving individuals. It has been estimated that 70% of people experience signs and symptoms of this condition at least once in their life.

Her seminar is titled “Imposter Phenomenon in Healthcare Professionals.” at noon (CST) on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
