The College of Health Professions Seminar Series welcomes Dr. Jacen Moore. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Health Sciences at UTHSC.
Dr. Moore focuses his research on Medical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences. His current NIH SEPA R25 grant, “High School to Health Care: Lab and Data Science Pathways for Success,” is designed to promote allied health careers as a viable pathway to professional success, with efforts focused on marginalized and underserved areas of West Tennessee.
His seminar is titled “The Use of Outreach and Distance Learning in K-12 Students to Promote Lab and Data Science Careers.” at noon (CST) on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
