Check Your Pay Statement

All employees have access to their online pay statement through the online payroll portal –https://irisweb.tennessee.edu/irj/portal/OnlinePayStatement.  All current deductions will be found on the right side of the statement.

Just a reminder about a few changes on your paycheck:

1 Effective Jan. 1, 2024, the state will pay 100% of the premiums for employee basic term life/basic accidental death and dismemberment insurance and Long-Term disability.  Employees should not see an insurance deduction for these benefits.

2. Eligible employees that did not opt into Life Insurance coverage of $50,000,  designated beneficiaries would receive 1x  employee’s base annual salary with a $250K maximum.  For the amounts of over $50,000, the IRS requires that the imputed cost of coverage must be included as income to the employee and is subject to social security and Medicare taxes. Please see page 14 of the IRS Publication 15-B for additional information.
