Chatting in Teams

This week, we introduced you to Teams and talked about how to have a meeting, but do you ever wish you could text a coworker instead of emailing or calling?

Chatting in Teams is an easy way to stay in touch with your team and colleagues. You can chat with one person or a group of people.

To chat after installing Teams, open Teams and:

1. Click the Chat icon on the left side of the app.
2. Click the New Chat icon at the top of your chat list. 
3. Enter the name or email of the individual you want to message and select it when it appears.
4. Enter your message in the Type a Message field and press Enter or Return.
