This week, we introduced you to Teams and talked about how to have a meeting, but do you ever wish you could text a coworker instead of emailing or calling?
Chatting in Teams is an easy way to stay in touch with your team and colleagues. You can chat with one person or a group of people.
To chat after installing Teams, open Teams and:
- Click the Chat icon on the left side of the app.
- Click the New Chat icon at the top of your chat list.
- Enter the name or email of the individual you want to message and select it when it appears.
- Enter your message in the Type a Message field and press Enter or Return.
