Emory Cares will partner with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) and Church Health to sponsor another spectacular year of giving. All are encouraged to attend at no cost to you. The fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on November 11th at Crosstown Concourse sponsored by Church Health, located at 1350 Concourse Avenue.
Emory Cares International Service Day is an initiative that brings together Emory University alumni, students, staff, faculty, parents, and friends to provide valuable services to their local communities. On November 11th, Emory Cares will sponsor multiple service projects across 19 states and seven countries, strengthening the bond between the Emory community and the places throughout the world where its members make their home.
Emory alumni and UTHSC representatives will provide basic health and dental screenings, flu vaccines and consultations with various health care and community personnel. There will be free food, giveaways, activities for children and a chance to win a Fitbit. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Dr. April Carter at DrCarter@alumni.emory.edu.
