The six colleges at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center will graduate a total of 796 health care professionals during the Spring 2018 commencement ceremonies taking place May 3 through May 25.
UTHSC continues to see an upward trajectory in the number of graduates each year. Preliminary numbers for the Spring 2018 graduating class represent the largest number on record for the university.
The graduates include 113 from the College of Dentistry, 49 from the College of Graduate Health Sciences, 207 from the College of Health Professions, 152 from the College of Medicine, 117 from the College of Nursing, and 158 from the College of Pharmacy.

May 3: 2 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre
The College of Graduate Health Sciences
May 14: 11 a.m. at the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts and Education
The College of Health Professions
May 17: 10 a.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts
May 10: 11 a.m. Alumni Memorial Building, James Cox Auditorium, Knoxville, (Audiology and Speech Pathology)
The College of Dentistry
May 17: 2 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts
The College of Nursing
May 25: 9:30 a.m. at the Memphis Cook Convention Center
The College of Medicine
May 25: 1:30 p.m. at the Memphis Cook Convention Center
The Spring 2018 graduating class includes 518 female and 278 male graduates. A total of 140 students graduating with the spring class came from out of state to study at UTHSC, including 22 graduates from the College of Dentistry, who are from Arkansas. Because the state does not have a dental school, UTHSC trains a significant number of dentists who practice in Arkansas.
