Tate Conrad Named Director of Planning and Design for Facilities at UTHSC

Tate Conrad, AIA, has been named director of Planning and Design for Facilities at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

In his role, Conrad works in conjunction with the UTHSC Office of Capital Projects, which includes the Division of Facilities Planning and the Office of Real Property, assisting with real property transactions and in the design and construction of capital projects to meet the administrative, research, academic, and educational program requirements of UTHSC. He is housed in the Facilities Department.

“I am grateful to be back in my hometown serving the community and the university,” Conrad said.” I look forward to contributing toward the vision for the current and future UTHSC Campus Master Plan.”

Conrad received his Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado. He is accredited by and involved with both the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
