Two final candidates for the Chancellor’s position at the UTHSC will be on campus for a series of interviews beginning Tuesday, November 25 through Thursday, December 4.
Two final candidates for the Chancellor’s position at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center will be on campus for a series of interviews beginning Tuesday, November 25 through Thursday, December 4.
The first candidate to be interviewed, Dr. Herrod, will go through the process on Tuesday, November 25 and Wednesday, November 26. Dr. Taylor will interview Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4.
The candidate selected will fill the position vacated by William (Bill) R. Rice, who stepped down from a decade of service as chancellor in November 2002 to lead the University Medical Center Quality Council. Jim Gibb Johnson, MD, the former associate vice president for health affairs and vice chancellor for clinical affairs, has been serving as interim chancellor.
