The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) Office of Research will host its annual Research Resource Fair Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. in the Madison Plaza Lobby. The event, on hold for three years during the pandemic, connects faculty, staff, and students to important resources that can help them succeed in research endeavors at UTHSC.
Over 30 research offices and entities from across the Memphis campus are participating in the event. Representatives from the colleges, UTHSC’s Health Sciences Library, University of Tennessee Research Foundation, and several research centers and institutes will man information tables and assist in educating the UTHSC community about the many tools and services available to researchers.
“We’re extremely proud to stage events like the Research Resource Fair to make sure our faculty, staff, and students across the state are aware of the many ways the Office of Research can serve and support them,” said Wesley Byerly, PharmD, interim vice chancellor for Research. “The fair is a fun opportunity for us to showcase the entities that make research and scholarship possible at UTHSC.”
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend to network with colleagues and learn about the campus’s cutting-edge instruments and technology, as well as many other services available in support of funding applications and research programs.
