Muggles and wizards alike, to celebrate the arrival of this exhibit, we’d like to invite students for Harry Potter Trivia, MC’ed by Cerrito Entertainment. The event will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 5pm to 7pm CST. There will also be a costume contest, and costumes both wizardly and non are invited!


Cybersecurity Tip of the Week – What is Typosquatting?

Typosquatting attempts to take advantage of typographical errors (i.e. “typos”) when users type URLs directly into the address bar. By capitalizing on user error, cyber threat actors funnel unsuspecting users to illegitimate domains that closely mimic originals. This tactic involves the purchase and registration of domains similar to an existing domain. Typosquatters often target high-traffic and/or sensitive websites to exploit the greatest number of users.

The November 1st Population Health & Translational Research Conference presents “The Current State of the Opioid Crisis: Are we Better, the Same, or Falling Behind?” by Karen Derefinko, PhD, Associate Professor, Dept of Preventive Medicine. Noon. Available via Zoom or in person in the Crowe Building, Room G041. Lunch at 11:45, first come first served. Certificate of attendance available.
