Dr. Tian Hong will present “Systems approaches for understanding phenotypic transitions of mammalian cells”. The dynamic nature of many biological processes, such as cancer progression, regeneration and immune responses, often involves phenotypic plasticity of cells driven by dynamic gene regulatory networks. In this talk, I will discuss studies of a few gene circuits in the contexts of development and cancer cells through combining bioinformatics, mathematical modeling and experiments. Welcome to join & learn more!
