It is not uncommon to receive phishing emails. We’ve talked about them in the past, but this week’s tip is a list of the most common phishing subject lines you need to look out for. By no means do we say these are the ONLY phishes out there, but read more for the list and see if you’ve gotten any, whether in your UTHSC email or your personal accounts. If you receive anything suspicious in your UTHSC email, forward it to abuse@uthsc.edu for examination.

Poverty Simulations are an educational experience for both volunteers and participants, and they truly take a village to accomplish. Help students learn about the challenges people in poverty face in their daily lives. No experience is required, and multiple roles are needed. Kimberly Williams MS, PhD(C) is enrolling African American and non-African American students for a research study “Exploring the Matriculation and Resource Utilization of African Americans with Hidden Disabilities in the Health Sciences” to understand your experiences of having as disability and being a student in the Health Sciences. Subjects must be 18 or older, enrolled in any of the colleges of UTHSC, and be of any race. Subjects will be asked to complete a brief demographic survey and do a 60-90 minute interview via Zoom or in person.
