Kimberly Williams MS, PhD(C) is enrolling African American and non-African American students for a research study “Exploring the Matriculation and Resource Utilization of African Americans with Hidden Disabilities in the Health Sciences” to understand your experiences of having as disability and being a student in the Health Sciences. Subjects must be 18 or older, enrolled in any of the colleges of UTHSC, and be of any race. Subjects will be asked to complete a brief demographic survey and do a 60-90 minute interview via Zoom or in person. UT Health Science Center Campus Police are diligent in their efforts to keep our students, staff, and faculty safe from the dangers of distracted drivers. Campus Police has joined with other national and local law enforcement agencies with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) high-visibility enforcement effort, April 1-8, 2024. Law enforcement officers nationwide will work together to enforce texting and distracted-driving laws. During this campaign, Campus Police Officers will be visible in their task to observe, educate and enforce distracted driver violations.
