As of March 1, users requesting desk phones must pay the cost of the equipment and installation. New telecommunications pricing will be published soon. Until then, no additional phones will be deployed except in specific cases.

This week’s reminds everyone about gift card scams, especially those we’ve seen on campus. No Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Dean or department head will ever ask you to purchase gift cards for them. If you receive an email that looks like it is coming from your supervisor in this scenario, their name has been spoofed, meaning the display name for that email account is using someone on campus, but the actual email address is not a @uthsc.edu one. Come Volunteer with your fellow UTHSC friends at the Midsouth Food Bank on four dates, including, March 20th, March 27th, April 17th, and April 24th. We will be volunteering from 1:00pm-3:00pm and transportation will be provided. Follow the link below to register today. Volunteers will work in our Volunteer HUB on different tasks, as needed. Our most common task will be sorting through donated food, checking for package quality, and ensuring the product is “in date”.
