|All UTHSC faculty statewide are invited to register now for the 3rd Annual Medical Education Symposium – Creating Key Connections and Enhancing Engagement in Education on October 24-25, 2024 hosted by the Academy of Master Educators.
Register by October 10th: cenow.uthsc.edu/content/3rd-annual-medical-education-symposium-2024.
All UTHSC faculty, students, residents, and fellows are also invited to submit abstracts for the symposium by September 3rd. Abstracts should be related to medical education, educational scholarship, and/or innovations in teaching at the UME, GME, or CME level.
Please submit abstracts by September 3rd: http://uthsc.edu/medical-education-symposium or directly to kbettin@uthsc.edu. Authors will be notified of acceptances by September 16th.

|Dr. Deidre Daria has been named interim Associate Vice Chancellor, Institutional Research Cores, effective August. 1, 2024. She also remains director of the Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core, a position she has held since 2022.
